Crime

I chose crime for my topic.  Expectations or rules intended to guide behaviors differ in every countries and cultures.  Things that are considered a taboo can only be a folkway and on the other hand, a folkway can be considered a taboo on the other side of the world.  Also, unlike the myth about crime, crime is actually decreasing but punishment for convictions aren’t enough in many Asian countries.  Human development and family studies (concentrating on child and adolescent development)being my major, I’d like to focus more on crimes that occurred to or by children and adolescences.
