Religious Divisions

I have chosen Religious Divisions not only because I have some experience with this in my life, but this has always interested me from a historical standpoint as well, not only in places where it has received more coverage lately such as the Middle East, but also in Ireland and the Baltics, for example. Sometimes the divisions seem easy to pinpoint, especially when they occur within one faith and are well-documented, but more often it has been the work of hundreds or thousands of years. These are effects we all live with today either directly or indirectly and this topic will, sadly, never cease to be relevant because it has informed all of our histories and will continue to do so after these divisions have been put to rest.
