Education reforms

Education is a topic that is prominent throughout the world. While some countries are trying to figure out how to provide education to the youth of their country, here in America we are trying to change the way we educate out youth. An article I read in the Yale Daily News discusses the a superintendent's ideas on education reforms. The article says that in order to improve education in today's society we must have those closest to the students, i.e. the teachers, have to display empowerment and leadership in order to encourage students to do the same.

This will ideally produce strong, confident children that will have the confidence to further their education and enhance their lives. Other students around the world are not as lucky as those here in America. So why should we not reform education to make the most of it? Where teachers are going to school everyday, and just doing their jobs and not expressing any excitement behind it, there is not surprise why children in our society get bored so easily and not further their education. Students need to be excited and with this empowerment, education in America will be changed.
