I am choosing to research Families for my Current Event Blog assignment. I believe that one's family is the closest and most important sense of comradery and without it you have so much less joy in your life. I am also a HDFS major with a concentration in Birth through Kindergarten. The people who have the closest impact on your life are indeed your family members, and it's a global and commonly shared thing, so I think it's perfect to cover in reference to the rest of the world.
