Of course as women she faced a lot of obstacles to be trained to be a lawyer and to be licensed.
Article Critique:
Gender inequality is an issue in Saudi Arabia because women are required to have male guardian. Male guardian is what gives women permission to do things such as marriage and divorce. Women cannot vote or hold political positions. This country’s economic development is poor. Women are only supposed to be homemakers. They cannot even drive. In families this can be an issue because women do not have a voice on anything and they cannot contribute financially and decision making. If women get education it will improve the country’s economic development and families. In families if the mother gets an education it will help the family with incomes to contribute. It will also give girls an equal opportunity to get an education. Also, it can have population stability with families’size. As women work and get an education they will wait later to have children. Women might increase their status in the family if they get an education. From a democratic standpoint this social issue needs to be dealt with and understood for the good for the country and family (to better human condition).
