Poverty

The topic that I am most interested in researching is poverty. Often times we don't realize how many people are impoverished in the United States, and much less, those who live in international countries. I would like to see how whole families, kids, women and men of different ethnicities and ages struggle to live from day to day, and what precautions countries are taking to help lower their poverty rates, if they are taking any. Taking a look at these kinds of problems will give me a better chance to realize how blessed I am to be living in the state that I am today.
