This article puts all the over whelming evidence and events
that have accrued as a direct response to global warming in chronological
order. By doing so the reader is able to see how over time the constant threat
of climate change is in fact increasing.
Climate change is a significant and lasting change in the statistical
distribution of weather patterns over periods ranging from decades to millions
of years. It may be a change in average weather conditions, or in the
distribution of weather around the average conditions. For example, more or
fewer extreme weather events also are factored in. Climate change is caused by
factors such as biotic processes, variations in solar radiation received by
Earth, plate tectonics, and volcanic eruptions. Certain human activities have
also been identified as significant causes of recent climate change, often referred
to as "global warming." The article gives accounts of activities stemming
from global warming and climate change that spans from November of 2013 until February
of 1014. The timeline is uncanny and is a real eye opener when it comes down to
our global standpoint concerning climate change. Looking at this issue through
a sociological perspective, there are several trends in the data reported. It
can be noted that as temperatures rise, weather patterns are altered all over
the globe. Therefore, it is safe to say that they are a correlational
relationship between rising temperatures and weather patterns. One might even hypothesize
that a continuous increase in greenhouse gasses will result in an increase of
the average temperatures around the world.
